This week Joy got to take home Flat Q Bear! Here's what she had to say about their time together:

I ate pizza with flat Q Bear.

He took a nap on my Barbie blanket.

We made pancake cupcakes.

I read with Flat Q Bear.

We took Flat Q Bear to the Pumpkin patch.

I buried flat Q-Bear in the corn pit.

It was exciting having Flat Q -Bear at my house!  I love Flat Q Bear.

 Oliver got to take home flat Q Bear this week!  Here's what he had to say about their time together:

Last week, me and Flat Q bear were at the pumpkin patch. We rode the carousel. The carousel was good. 

Me and Flat Q Bear climbed the tires. It was fun!

Me and Flat Q Bear did the corn maze. It was a pumpkin patch corn maze. It was really, really, really fun. We went in a bucket full of corn.

We watched the Pig Races and I got to judge the pigs. It was the blue one that I watched. And I waved a blue ribbon if the pig won. The blue pig won one race. Me and Flat Q Bear ate corn dogs. They were awesome. 

Me and Flat Q Bear ate s'mores. Yum yum yum!

I felt good about getting to spend the whole day with my family. The end.

Laila got to take home Flat Q Bear this week! Here's what she had to say about their adventures together:

Q bear and I celebrated my birthday with my family at the park.

Then we ate our lunch, we hit the piñata, ate cake and we came home.

We did homework for my Chinese class. We ate snacks and play. Q bear went to school in my pretend school.

We read my favorite book, “How to Catch a Mermaid”. Q bear likes the book too.

I love to play with Q bear and I made a voice for him.

First Q Bear and I went to In-n-Out.

Then we came home and did some homework for teacher school.

We went to Krispy Kreme to get a treat later.  Q Bear loves donuts!

Q Bear also practiced tracing his letters.  He worked so hard!

Q Bear and I had lots of fun together!

Special weekly update - First quarantine edition! (4/3/20)

It's been an odd couple of weeks here in kindergarten.  Due to the current shelter-in-place recommendations, we have moved to distance learning from home.  It's taking some getting used to, but we're rising to the challenge!  Here's what our new morning meetings look like:

Since we haven't been at school together for a couple weeks, we don't have a lot of photos from class to share, but our class bear, Q Bear, has been busy at home!  So without further ado, here are photos from Q Bear's quarantine weeks at home:

Q Bear took a much needed bath.

Q Bear built with some Legos.

Q Bear read a book.

Q Bear retrieved Mr. Strazzo's wedding ring from the sink drain.

Q Bear made some sourdough starter and named it Oswald.

Q Bear helped out with some cleaning around the house.

Q Bear made crepes.

Q Bear planted some seeds and food scraps.

Q Bear baked some cookies.

Q Bear enjoyed some tunes and the beautiful sunshine.

Q Bear did some coloring.

Q Bear made Oswald the sourdough starter into some bread.

Q Bear went for a walk around the neighborhood.

Q Bear played Mario Kart with Mr. Strazzo.

Q Bear changed a lightbulb.

Q Bear played some card games.

From all of us in B4, even though we're not physically together right now, we hope you're staying safe and healthy right now!
