Weekly Update 2/1/19

It's been another busy week in kindergarten!  Here's what we've been up to:

Noemi - We did the 100th day of school.
Liam - We did centers.
Fletcher - We dressed up as 100 year olds.
Sanay - We did calendar.
Wyatt - We did the computers.
Rajveer - We did the 100th day.
Olivia - We did centers.
Camila - We did centers.
Ojas - We did 100 centers.
Urvee - At the 100 centers, we made a big tower.
Steven - We did calendar and we dressed weather bear.
Cannon - We did centers.
Jett - We did the 100th day of school and it's now 101.
Chloe - We're going to do art.
Madhura - We did our necklace.
Simran - We did family meeting.
Aarsh - We did math.
Abby - We did calendar and in calendar we had to count to 100 and some people got awards.
Mia - We did art.
Chaithanya - We did writing.
Mya M. - It was the 100th day of school yesterday.
Grayson - Yesterday was the 100th day of school and we did games.
Maya K. - We did calendar and in calendar we counted to 100, and now today it is February and yesterday was January.
Macx - We did centers.

Q Bear Guest Blogger: Noemi

First we went to my Mom's office and we read Q Bear's book. Then we ate a snack together. Then we played in the sandbox.

Then it was time to go home. I called my Dad and I wanted to go to sushi with Q Bear. Then me and Q Bear were in the car and I fell asleep with Q Bear.

When I woke up we were at sushi and my Dad was there. Q Bear ate gyoza and then we went home and read his book. We spinned around and then we watched YouTube Kids together.

Then we did the dishes and then we played Uno together. Then it was time for bed. Me and Q Bear brushed our teeth together with my LOL toothbrush (he was playing with my LOLs too).

My mom tucked us in together and then I turned on my Rainbow Dash night light, and me and Q Bear went to sleep.

Weekly Update 1/25

Maya K. - We learned about Benjamin Franklin.
Cannon - We did Walking Wednesday.
Grayson - We learned to add numbers in math.
Camila - We built a puzzle.
Macx - We did book box reading.
Abby - We did math and we needed the counters for it.
Aarsh - We did math.
Steven - We read stories.
Mia - We dressed weather bear and we said how are you feeling today.
Jett - We did calendar.
Liam - We did the human puzzle.
Olivia - We did calendar.
Ojas - We dressed up weather bear.
Simran - We did fun puzzles.
Fletcher - We learned about Benjamin Franklin and we drew pictures of him electricity.
Rajveer - We did calendar and we did a puzzle.
Chaithanya - We sang the days of the week song.
Noemi - We did calendar.
Madhura - We did math.
Urvee - We learned about what's fair and what's not fair.
Sanay - We did the body parts puzzle.
Wyatt - We did puzzles and we did calendar.
Mya M. - We did bonus time.

Q Bear Guest blogger: Chloe

I got to take Q Bear home for the night! When Mommy picked me up from BASE she took me and Q Bear to a special place. We went to the Spaghetti Factory and he put the box on his head, he’s so silly.

And I shared my milk with him. 

I fed him some soup. I ate bologna ice cream, oh wait spumoni ice cream with him.

We sat at the train in the Spaghetti Factory, it was fun but Q Bear almost fell out the window.

I introduced Q Bear to all of my stuffies and friends so he would have new friends too.

He met my pets and brushed his teeth and did my goodnight routine. 

He read a book with me.

Now we’re going to go to sleep because it’s bedtime. My Mommy calls me Chlo-Bear and I said goodnight Q Bear... hey Chlo-Bear and Q Bear rhyme!

2019 Sample Q Bear Blog Post

Starting this week, each student will get a chance to take our class bear, Q Bear, home for a night.  After each student takes him home, they get to write a blog post about their time together.  Q Bear came home with me this weekend, and I wrote a blog post all about it:

When Q Bear and I got home, we went for a walk.  Then we relaxed on the couch.  We decided to watch a little bit of TV.

After that, Q Bear and I made dinner.  We made minestrone soup in the crock pot.  Q Bear really liked stirring the soup.

After dinner, Q Bear helped me do some laundry.  He wanted to go for a swim in the washing machine, but I wouldn't let him.

After doing laundry, Q Bear and I decided to do some reading before bed.  It was so relaxing!

Finally it was time for bed.  Q Bear and I had a great day together!
